The Vouvray is a white wine produced in the Loire valley region in France. It is produced from white Chenin grapes, a variety of grapes that grow mainly in this region. The Dry Vouvray has an apple, pear and toasting taste and has high acidity and a long finish. The semi-dry vouvray has an apple and honey flavor and is less tangy than the dry vouvray. The soft vouvray has an apple and honey flavor and is sweeter and less tangy than the other styles of Vouvray.
