This sausage, known and recognized throughout France, has created its reputation for many years already. We are all aware of the existence of Toulouse sausage. We find it in all the butchers and supermarkets in France. It was in 1970 that the famous culinary guide Gault & Millau gave its name today so widespread in Toulouse sausage. Today, there is no longer a real Toulouse sausage from the region to a lambda sausage wrongly called 'Toulouse sausage'. She was so imitated that in 2001, we finally decided to protect this appellation by attributing the 'True sausage from Toulouse' to it.
