Before you begin, preheat your oven to 180°C.
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla sugar. Add the softened butter and mix.
Beat the egg and fold it into the mixture. Then, add the white chocolate in small pieces and the macadamia nuts.
On a baking sheet, place small mounds of dough spaced apart with 2 tablespoons previously soaked in hot water.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
The cookies are done when the edges are golden brown. Remove them from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
