Pour the sugar into a saucepan and let it caramelize over low heat.
Then add the salted butter cut into pieces and mix until thickened using a wooden spatula.
Add the whole liquid cream and cook for another 5 minutes over low heat, stirring.
Let the caramel cool for 20 minutes.
Then pour the salted butter caramel into a jar and let it cool before closing the jar.
Serve.
