Peel the shrimp. Keep the tail and shell.
In a bowl, beat the egg yolk with the iced water then add the sifted flour.
Heat some oil for frying in a saucepan.
Roll the shrimp in the batter and then dip them into the hot oil.
Fry the shrimp until golden brown, then drain.
Serve with hot sauce.
