Melt the butter in a pan, add the sliced bananas and sprinkle with sugar. Pour in 2 tablespoons of rum and cook for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture whitens, then add the flour and baking powder.
Melt the remaining butter and add it to the mixture. Add the caramelized bananas and mix.
Pour the mixture into a cake tin and bake at 180°C for 35 minutes.
