In a frying pan, gently brown the chopped onion in a little margarine.
Add the contents of 2 trays of sot-l'y-laisse and brown them over high heat.
Add the can of mushrooms and their juice, as well as 5 teaspoons of veal stock.
Add a little water and cook over low heat, covered, for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Add salt and pepper and enjoy.
