Before you begin, preheat your oven to 180°C.
Make sure the dish you choose is large enough to accommodate the carp, otherwise you may have to cut off its head.
Take the gutted and scaled carp if necessary, and put slices of tomato and lime in its belly.
Slice the onions and place them at the bottom of the dish with a little oil to prevent the carp from sticking during cooking.
Place the carp on the bed of onions and place the dish in the oven. Check the cooking time every 15 to 20 minutes, as cooking time may vary depending on the oven and the weight of the carp.
To accompany the carp, you can prepare curry rice with bundles of green beans tied with smoked bacon.
