Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut off tomato tops, scoop out pulp and chop it.
Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil; add minced meat (or sausage), the chopped pulp, herbs, salt and pepper.
Fill the tomatoes, replace the caps, drizzle with oil and arrange in a dish.
Bake 50–60 minutes until the filling is cooked and tomatoes are tender.
