Wash the blackberries with running water in a bowl then drain them.
Take the lemon juice using a grip press.
Pour the fruits, sugar (1kg if giant sugar) and lemon juice in a jam basin or in a pot and mix everything.
Bring the jam to a boil, then cook for about twenty minutes to have the desired consistency. To cook the jam in a homogeneous manner, stir frequently with a spatula.
Using a skimmer, remove the foam on the surface and mash the fruit to have a smooth texture.
Prepare the jars by sterilizing them with boiling water and let dry.
At the end of cooking, check the consistency of the jam using a cold plate. By leaning the plate, the jam must flow slowly.
Fill the pots with blackberries and place the cover.
Turn the jars over for 1 minute to eliminate the air present in the container, then let everything cool.
