Clean the slipper louse using kitchen scissors to remove the tail and legs from the top and bottom.
Rinse them thoroughly before cooking them in a pan with well-heated oil, in small quantities and on both sides.
Once cooked, remove them from the pan and set them aside.
Use the same pan to cook the tomato with all the other ingredients until the sauce boils.
Add the cicadas back to the sauce and let it reduce a little while keeping the sauce juicy.
Serve with rice or pasta.
