Wash, peel, seed and cut the apples into quarters.
Put the apples with a tablespoon of water in a saucepan and cook them over high heat for 2 minutes. Continue cooking for about 8 minutes over low heat.
Using a fork, mash the apples so as to have a homogeneous consistency and mix with 125 grams of sugar and cinnamon powder.
Butter a gratin mold and pour the preparation into it.
In a bowl, vigorously mix the diced butter, flour and the rest of the sugar.
Knead the mixture using your fingers so as to have a friable paste with the sandy texture.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and divide the dough over the apples.
Bake the apple crumble for 30 minutes, until you get a golden color on the surface.
Leave to cool and taste with a scoop of ice cream.
