Put the gelatin in a bowl of cold water
Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar in a bowl
Bring the milk and vanilla to a boil in a saucepan
Pour the vanilla milk over the sugar and the yolks, then whip
In a saucepan, heat everything over medium heat
Pass the custard in a sieve
Add the wrung gelatin and stir
Leave the custard in the refrigerator
Pour the cream in a bowl, then whisk it using an electric mixer
Gradually incorporate the whipped cream with a custard cooled with a maryse.
