Peel the onion and garlic, then chop them finely
Add water to a large saucepan and boil it
Have the tomatoes scald in boiling water for 2 minutes
Drain them then pass them under cold water
Peel them and cut them into pieces
Pour the olive oil into a casserole dish and heat it
Add the chopped onion and brown it for a few minutes
Then add the chopped garlic, the tomatoes, then salt and pepper
Mix well then simmer covered for about 30 minutes
Wash and finely cut the basil bouquet
At the end of cooking, mix the tomato sauce, then add the basil and mix well before serving it with the pasta. This recipe can be prepared out of season, but using crushed tomatoes in this case.
