Peel and chop the onions, then place them in a buttered dish.
Peel and wash the potatoes, then cut them and place them in the gratin dish. Add salt and pepper.
Pour the broth over the potatoes and bring to a boil. Then sprinkle with parmesan and butter hazelnuts.
Bake 40 minutes before serving.
