Mix together the basil, tomatoes, onions, ginger, garlic, broth, pepper, and thyme.
Pour this mixture over the oiled fish and bake in a medium oven for 30 minutes.
During the last 15 minutes of cooking the fish, cut the plantains into strips and fry them until golden brown.
Serve the fish with fried bananas and accompany it with cassava sticks and chili puree.
