Using a pestle, mash the almonds until a fine powder is obtained.
Separate the white from the egg yolk.
In a bowl, mix the almond powder, sugar, egg yolks, melted butter and rum until you have a homogeneous texture.
Butter a pie pan and go for the preparation.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Cover the preparation with the puff pastry.
Cook for 30 minutes, checking the cooking using a knife blade. Let the surface of the cake brown.
Unmold and let cool before tasting.
