The preparation of a tarte tatin begins with the creation of a shortcrust pastry. So put the flour in a bowl. Then add the salt, the sugar and 65 grams of ointment butter until you have a sandy texture. To complete this first step, add water to the dough and form a ball.
Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces.
Heat the rest of the butter in a saucepan and gradually add sugar to make caramel.
Pour the caramel into a pie dish. Then put the apples in the mold, in the shape of a rosette. Let them cook for 10 minutes and add the cinnamon.
To finish the preparation, cover the apples with the shortcrust pastry, previously spread over a mold. Put your pie for 20 minutes at 180°C.
