Using a mandolin, make peeled and washed potato slices beforehand
In a saucepan, boil the milk, salt, pepper, nutmeg and garlic. Add the potato rings and cook for about 10 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180°C
In a buttered gratin dish, arrange the potato rings, cover with cream and milk then place butter hazelnuts over top
Bake the dish for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
