The breadcrumbs are a mixture of grated bread or bread crumbs that is used in the kitchen to pane food before cooking them. It is mainly used to pane meat, fish and vegetables before frying or grilling them, but can also be used in the preparation of cooked dishes, such as gratins and kibbles. The breadcrumbs are generally prepared by ranging dry bread with a food processor or a knife, but it can also be bought any ready in the trade.
